Finiki (Foiniki) and surroundings
The century old village of Finiki is located on one of the most beautiful coasts of the green peninsula Peloponnese. The landscape is characterized by green hills dotted with olive trees and groups of cypress trees, all interspersed with an occasional house or chapel. Positioned on a hill top, Finiki offers an all-around view of the mountains, the windmills of Pylos and the Mediterranean Sea with four islands just off the coast.
Beaches
There are four beaches in the area. Lampes Beach – near Finiki between Finikounda and Methoni – is our favorite. On the 800 m long coastline, enclosed on both side by cliffs rising out of the sea, there are four taverns and beach clubs. The beach is never too crowded and the fine sand, blue sea and view of the islands of Sapienza, Santa Marina and Shiza are amazing.
There are four towns in the area that are worth a visit:
The picturesque Pylos on the impressive Navarino Bay – 10 min by car.
Methoni with its imposing fortress and Finikounda where you can stroll, go out and dine – 10 min by car.
Koroni with a pleasant boulevard and ditto strolling streets – 25 min by car.

The Bay course > a signature golf course in Greece that meanders through tree different landscapes: Seaside, Canyon and Grove.
Both courses are well suited to both the novice and advanced golfer and guarantee an unforgettable experience and perhaps a framed scorecard on the wall.
